Kowa Binoculars
Kowa, famous for their high quality, high performance spotting scopes, have now applied their skills to binoculars and introduced a range of roof prism binoculars with high specifications.
The Kowa BD42 series were hugely popular when introduced a few years ago, now Kowa have added Prominar XD Lenses as used on their top of the range binoculars and scopes to the front element of these binoculars. Kowa have lightened the binoculars by constructing them from magnesium alloy, brightened and sharpened the image by using top of the line C3 and Phase coatings, they are fully waterproof, filled with dry nitrogen gas and have a close focusing distance of just 1.5m (about 5 feet) So far everyone who has looked through these binoculars (and indeed the 10x42 version) seems to like them. We find these excellent binoculars and have no hesitation in fully recommending them. A lot of people find their way to this item via the description from the now discontinued Swift Audubon ED binoculars. These Kowa binoculars really are an excellent alternative. The field of view is wider than most binoculars (although admittedly, not quite as wide as the Swift Audubon) and the clarity and colour of the image is exceptional. Supplied with a case and strap and a two year guarantee. Stock Availability: Delivery 5-7 Days Show Box Photograph Price shown includes VAT and SHIPPING for this item to: Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Other countries shipping is charged at cost, email for details. This page updated: 10 August 2024 |

eebc - Chris 20/04/2019 11:19:39 | The actual manufacturers specifications state 131m @ 1000m.
Which is about 393 feet. We were working on allowing people to see both feet and meters, then we got told we were not allowed to due to some regulation where metric had to be given more prominence, we more or less gave up at this point, but the developmental page is at: www.eebc.co.uk/setoptions.aspx (this uses cookies) |
