The Visionary V60 high resolution straight scope features BAK4 prisms, rubber armour, full waterproofing and fully coated lenses for a bright and natural colour image. This model comes complete with case and table tripod (and can be used with any standard photo/video tripod), has a rubber eyecup and comes with a 10 year guarantee.
Like all of the Visionary spotting scope range, the eyepiece is built in and can not be changed later, this is not really a disadvantage as the zoom covers every magnification normally needed. I have emailed you details of prices etc. We have had reports that the Visionary scopes give a good image when used with both digital and film media. We have never tried it ourselves, but the couple of customers to have said it was very easy with the adaptors available. |

I have now tried it out, and compared it to my friends slightly dated Kowa scope, it compares very well indeed! Excellent scope, excellent service and a really good image. |

Yes, it is possible to fit this to a Canon SLR camera. Optical Hardware have produced a short guide to attaching various photographic equipment to these scopes, it is available as a PDF from their website. Use the link above to get to the website and the link is just under the list of the various models. Camera adaptor A + a T mount would be required, the camera adaptors are £19.00, T mounts we do not normally carry in stock are £15.00 and take a couple of days to obtain (or you local independant photographic retailer should have them) DigiScopeDiary is good site with lots of information about this kind of set up. |

Most birdwatchers tend to go for the angled version, as bending your neck can be easier when viewing for long periods of time, but quite a few (myself included) use the straight ones. |

I have uploaded the original image here (it is a 2MB file). The magnification of the scope was around the middle of its zoom, so about 30x The camera was zoomed in slightly to reduce vignetting (the black of the eyepice seen around the edges of the original), this could have added to the magnification slightly. Having said all that, yes, this is mnore or less what you would see when looking through it. |
