Opticron Monoculars

Rugged, purpose-built pocket monoculars available in either 8x or 10x magnification, the Trailfinder III series deliver quality and value for money to people interested in owning and using a monocular while out enjoying the countryside.

Designed for walkers and hikers alike, these compact roof prism instruments feature a slide bar focusing system to allow easy one hand operation with or without gloves.

The aluminum bodies are nitrogen gas waterproof to prevent water penetration and misting on the internal surfaces and are covered in a textured rubber armour to aid grip in the hand and protect against knocks and bumps during use or while packed in a rucksack.

The 10x magnification is ideal when looking over valleys during walks in the countryside, or for a touch of birdwatching.

* Fully multi-coated BAK 4 glass prisms with fully multi-coated lenses (all air/glass surfaces)
* Long eyerelief eyepiece giving full field of view with spectacles
* Twist-type retractable eyecup assembly
* Internal focusing: infinity to under 2m
* 5 year manufacturers guarantee

Thank you for your inquiry.

We do not charge any shipping on Monoculars to countries of the British Commonwealth, so the price is as indicated £35.00

Thanks I was under the understanding VAT may not apply to us though?

If the item was of higher value we could (and would) deduct the VAT, however all the documentation takes an age to complete, then we have to persuade a Post Office official to countersign and stamp the forms (which they regularly refuse to do, meaning we have to take all the forms and the parcel to a different Post Office). We only zero rate the VAT for orders starting at £60 inc VAT (which is £50 without vat)

Thanks that is understandable. I have just placed an order, cheers. (Apologies if this reply posted several times, was producing weird symbols in the comment box)

Thank you for your understanding, the paperwork really is a pain (and we have to keep it for 7 years).

The monocular is already on its way.

Not sure why the odd symbols in the comment box, we have had trouble recently with a ton of Russian spam links that have tried to be posted as comments (all comments are moderated, so none were ever shown)
