Pepper A. 17/03/2008 16:24:56 | Excellent binoculars, excellent price. I know there are better binoculars, but I do not use them that often and could not justify spending hundreds on a pair.
For the image quality, I would class these as a bargain, they are much better than I would have expected. |
eebc - Jamie. 17/03/2008 16:29:58 | The Visionary Wetland are nice binoculars. We always tend to have trouble finding decent quality low cost binoculars, but these fit the bill nicely.
Thank you for your comments. |
DickE 18/04/2008 13:56:14 | Can these Visionary Wetland 10x42 binocs be mounted on a tripod if required? Looking for set of 6 binocs for my Scout group. Can you recommend a suitable low cost tripod ? Thanks and Best Wishes, Dick. ps: saw your ad in The Countryman magazine. |
eebc - Chris. 18/04/2008 14:26:42 | Thank you for your enquiry.
The Visionary Wetland can be tripod mounted using a Roof prism L shaped bracket as the mounting is between the two objective lenses. It depends upon how much the tripod would be used, a very low cost lightweight one like the First ST5 would be ok for occasional use, but something more substantial like the Pyser 510 would be better if it was going to be used more often. |
Alastair 29/08/2009 08:45:51 | Are these binoculars water and fog proof? |
eebc - Jamie 29/08/2009 09:10:05 | They are sealed and fully waterproof. I do not know if they are filled with any gasses to prevent internal fogging, but at this price I doubt it. |
