For £15 - can you actually see through these binoculars? - Only joking, I am thinking of getting some for prizes for my scout group, are they OK - obviously they are very cheep, but would they be suitable?

Obviously people should not expect too much, as you say they are very cheap.

However, yes you can see through them and the quality of the image (for the price) is very good. When we first looked through them we thought they would probably sell for around £30 as were surprised that we could sell them for half that!

We have sold fairly large quantities of these in the past for cubs/scouts/guides etc, and have never had any compaints. We have also sold quite a few to people who want a low cost pair, then if they are lost or damaged it does not matter too much (we recently sold one to a mountain climber who said he is always dropping things!)
